    2010 Tournament One

This began on February 8th. The first 6 games are played as a mini-league, games are of two sets of seven ends, but unlike the World Championships all 7 ends must be played as shot difference comes into play in the league structure. After the completion of the 6 league games the top two in the league play in a final to determine the days champion. The winner is awarded 8 points, second spot gets 6 points, 3rd place receives 4 points and last place gets 2 point. Each tournament consists of two events, with four tournaments in total.

Event One

    Day One

the 6 players participating that day were John Price, Simon Skelton, Mark Royal, Steve Knight. With Simon Skelton beating both Mark Royal and Steve Knight and beating John Price in a tie break, he then went on to beat John Price in the days final 2 sets to nil to claim the 8 points, John Price (6), Mark Royal (4) and Steve Knight(2).

    Day Two (9th Feb)

Despite losing to David Gourlay in the league system, Nicholas Brett beat David Gourlay in the final to claim the 8 points, which left David Gourlay on 6 points , Danny Brown (4 points) Simon Stevens (2).

    Day Three (15th Feb)

A tough group, but the days winner was Greg Harlow(8 points) who beat Billy Jackson in the final(6) with Chris young(4) and Richie Morgan(2).

    Day Four (16th Feb)

saw Ian Bond come last to recieve just two points along his way he beat Jonathon Ross (4 points), lost to Graham Smith (6 points) and lost to the days winner Jamie Chestney(8 points)

So with 16 players taking part, tournament one was at the half way stage.
Event Two
22nd Feb : Ian Bond made amends for his showing on day Four in Event one by winning on this day, in 2nd spot was Richard Morgan followed by Kevin Carrie and Steve Knight.
23rd Feb : Jamie Chestney continued in fine form to take the honours, with David Gourlay again finishing as runners up, Graham Smith was 3rd just in front of Billy Jackson.
Mar 1st : Two previous winners Simon Skelton and Greg Harlow were together in this group and it was Greg Harlow who took the spoils beating Simon Skelton in the final also placed were danny Beown and John Price bringing up the rear.
Mar 2nd : Nicholas Brett won again for maximum points, Mark Royal collected 6 points for 2nd spot along with Jonathon Ross in 3rd and Chris Young 4th.
