RI Amateurs have tasted defeat in the York Amateur Bowling Association League division one for the first time in two years.

THE Scottish Women’s Bowling Association’s singles matches took place last Friday at Dumbarton BC.

RAIN blighted the traditional start of the York outdoor bowls season with the annual match between teams representing York Amateur Bowling Association and the Club & Institute Leagues
restricted to just ten ends.
